The mascot for the entire Nepal Project. This soft wool Teddy can be a decoration as well as a beloved toy.  "Nepal Projects grew from our desire to use Menu as a platform for making a positive difference. Many young Nepali women from poor families risk being lured into prostitution. Through education of children and employment of young women we offer a sound and viable alternative. The Nepal Projects is our way to celebrate great craftsmanship, while helping vulnerable workers secure a better future for themselves and their families."

Menu has launched a new trade initiative, Nepal Projects. Developed in collaboration with aid organization Danida, Nepal Projects provides much-needed fair employment and future opportunities in one of the world's poorest countries by combining traditional fabric working skills with a contemporary Scandinavian design aesthetic. The result makes up part of our new collection of home accessories: Exquisite hand-weaved scarves and blankets, puffy pillows, practical desktop containers, roomy laundry bags, and cool teddy bears for kids and grown-ups alike. Himalayan cashmere, merino wool, leather and cotton of the finest quality are the main ingredients in the collection. Bridging traditions of East and West, the carefully crafted items are finished in muted grey, blue, green and red tones to suit a minimalistic Scandinavian home decoration style.

While production of the collection takes place in the Kathmandu area, where it employs hundreds of weavers, tailors and other local craftspeople, the design process happens in collaboration with Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen of Norm Architects; Kristine Engelbrecht's A Hint of Neon, both in Copenhagen; as well as the Stockholm-based Taiwanese design duo Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei at Afteroom - and the seven-strong team at Note Design Studio.

* Please note the door to door delivery service for furniture & Lighting does not include stair climbing. It is involves extra charges for stair climbing. Please state in the delivery address.

11.    How long will my order take to arrive?

Here is the list of delivery time for different area zones and by different couriers :

12.    Can I pick up in store?



Sure.  For added convenience and flexibility, you can order online and collect your purchase personally, or send a representative. Please let us know when and where you would like to pick up your items at least two days in advance. We will send you a notification email once your order is confirmed.



You can also simply type COLLECT AT STORE on the Shipping page at Checkout.

To collect your order, simply visit our shop and present your order confirmation.

13.     Do I need to sign to receive my order?



Yes. All orders must be signed for at the time of delivery. In doing so, you accept the responsibility for the order from that moment on.



If the recipient is not the original purchaser, such as in the case of a gift delivery, then the recipient’s signature will be accepted by House for Goodies Limited as evidence of delivery and fulfillment of your order.

14.     Do I have to pay taxes and duties for International order? 



Import tax and duties may be applicable, depending on the destination country. You are responsible for all import tax and duties. 



The courier or your local post office will contact you with further details for customs clearance. Please note that customs clearance procedures may delay the delivery time. Please contact us for shipment details at contact@houseforgoodies.com 







15.    Can I return my item and get a refund? 



All orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. We will send out the in-stock items within 2 working days. As for per-order items, the order confirmation will directly send to our supplier overseas, which cannot be revised.

16.    What if I get a defective/incorrect item?

All items undergo comprehensive quality control and are checked for faults and damage before they are sent to customers. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, we will be happy to replace your product at no cost. Please contact us at contact@houseforgoodies.com 
within 2 days of receipt, stating the problem and attach relevant photos if possible



Items shipped without our consent may be refused upon delivery.

17.    Will the warranty be included?
